The Company
The creator of the Slanket originally got the idea for his product in 1998, when he was a college freshman in frigid Maine. That year, he commissioned the creation of the first Slanket, which was made by his mother. Nearly 15 years later, the company has grown into a successful and reputable distributor, and is committed to “spreading the warmth” through charitable donations and community outreach programs.

Best Christmas gift I ever got! I've used it for two winters and I absolutely adore it. I was impressed by the stitching; it is a very well sewn blanket. I don't worry about washing it and having the stitching come undone. It is very warm and lightweight but doesn't take long to wash or dry. There are a lot of copycat and imitation products out there, which are inferior to the quality and craftsmanship of The Slanket.
I love my Slanket!! They are way better than similarly marketed products with different brand names. Why should you buy Slanket vs. those other cheap competitors, you ask? Because Slankets come in way more colors and fabrics, they are THICKER and therefore warmer than imitators, LONGER than other brands, AND they even have a Siamese Slanket for 2 people!!! You just can't go wrong with the Slanket!!
