Shoezooz were designed by Ellen Lichtman, a mom and graphic designer based in Baltimore. Ellen created Shoezooz to help build her toddler daughter’s independence and save them time getting out the door.
When my 3 year old puts his shoes on by himself, nine times out of ten they end up on the wrong feet. I tried teaching him the right way but he is still too young to understand. Then I came across Shoezooz Educational Shoe Stickers. They show left and right in a way he can understand, with a picture. He knows that the front of the pig goes on the left side and the back of the pig goes on the right. He is able to get his shoes on the right feet every time! They are water and moisture-proof so you don’t have to worry about them peeling off after one wear.
My son loves puzzles so a good way to teach him left and right was to put the animals together. Brilliant! He enjoys doing it and then easily can see which foot goes where. I cannot tell you how much these simple, yet clever puzzle stickers have quickened the shoe placement process.
