I love my local zoo! as unique as Austin, this place is quaint and growing. I found the selection of animals quite a delight. you can see it all in a short time so it doesn't wear you out.
There are many cats: tigers, jaguars, lions, etc...
I have been going here for ten years, and must tell you to visit again if you have not in a year or so. they have expanded, and their growth is good. I heard one couple say that they were impressed with the amount of space that the tigers had, it was larger than the bigger zoos.
you can get closer to the animals, so the experience is more real than a safari.
I am a fan of the Austin Zoo!
